Get Your Sombreros Out For The Lads

The last game of the season is Sombrero Day. 50 years since we won the League and were Champions of England. While Brian Clough was in the Scillies, the players and Peter Taylor were in Majorca and were famously photographed sporting sombreros while celebrating by the pool. Those great players will be in attendance this Saturday for what will be an incredibly emotional day, the end of an unforgettable season that has given us so much to enjoy and to be proud about and the anniversary of our greatest triumph.

Dig out your sombrero from your cupboard. In the unlikely event you haven't got one, get yourself one. You know it makes sense.

Absolutely incredible and it's great to hear what Pool fans had to say.

A letter from a Blackpool fan confirming what we all knew.

Its funny ,but earlier in the season when Blackpool got 4 put past them by Forest . I took a real dislike to some of the Forest fans because of the way they talked about Blackpool being a club they expected to thrash . Hadn't took much notice of them before their win. Now I know Derby were aloud an extra 1,000 fans and I know its a bank holiday ,so people are generally happier . What a difference between the two sets of fans . Those fans were brilliant , friendly and funny and I have now found that I want Derby to have as much success as to see Forest fail so badly. GOOD LUCK DERBY.

Desi, it's really interesting scrolling around You Tube for these fan-created videos. I've seen some by a Villa fan, a Coventry fan and a Bournemouth fan and they were all unanimous in praise for Derby's incredible fan support, all adding "the best I've come across this season." We can now add Blackpool to those.
