Liverpool to win the Quad

Absolutely going to happen, I see no reason at all why they wouldn’t. Put your mortgage on it. As the Rock would say - it’s ‘guarandamnteed’

Yep. I’m not sure it’s a policy that Pep would have particularly wanted this season though, although it was the right choice if we do get Haaland.

Cup treble imo.

City have easy games

You're always available for these discussions. How do you feel about Celtic being set to win 10 in 11? They were pretty happy. Almost as happy as

*Yourself when United lose. You reckon the not so mighty Gers will regain the league title next year? I'd ask you on an SPFL thread but figured you'd be more likely to see my comment and respond here

I think City may do the double. Will be an excellent achievement for them if they do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ofc under big pressure in the league again and finally winning the CL be an gr8 season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And with no real strikers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You say that as if it’s not their own fault they don’t have any strikers. It’s not like they can’t afford to buy any, they chose not to.

It certainly doesn’t add to any kind of achievement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I say it as in it makes the achievement seem better when they are doing it with limited options, no matter whether it's their fault or not.

I just don’t agree with the term ‘limited options’ when you have unlimited funds. If they had two or three strikers at their disposal and they all got season ending injuries, and City still won the league, then it would be an achievement.

We don’t have unlimited funds though, if we did we’d have paid whatever Spurs wanted for Kane. We’d have also brought in a left back.

Even so though, you can criticise Begiristain but still commend the coaching as an achievement.

True. Liverpool have had less injuries than anybody in the PL this season btw. And they also have the squad with the most 40 million plus players in the league. So yeah, I think they're pretty well placed to deal with any rare injuries

Have we had less injuries than everyone else? I have no idea, though I’m sure you can back it up…. Not quite sure why you brought it up anyway, it has nothing to do with this point. I can only assume you’re trying to put some sort of asterisk by anything we win, which is a bit bizarre.

40m on a player is probably mid price range these days, and the fact we’re so successful with our recruitment isn’t really something to try and pick at. Transfer price is no guarantee of a good signing, you should know that better than most…..

The words Man City and limited options in the same sentence.

The league is the one I wouldn't put my bike on, never mind the house
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's be sober here, the league title is going to the oil people. Gave it a good go though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have this feeling someone will get a draw against City.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Agreed
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Teams roll over for Liverpool, but seem to want to stop City.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
you dont think we rolled over for city?
