Corruption in football

It is unbelievably clear that PL football is corrupt.

Chelsea helping their ex-player at the Everton....

David Moyes is helping his ex-player at Arsenal.

I didn't expect any help from West Ham, not because of their line up (Moyes went stronger than I expected) or that they weren’t trying which definitely wasn't the case. Simply because in the 2nd half they showed us exactly what they are a tired jaded team who's squad can't possibly cope with the number of games they've had.

They are victims of their own European success.

I’m surprised if anyone thinks football is not corrupt. Tgat said, cannot comment on the specific allegations.

I often wonder if folk actually think there is some deep rooted corruption being administered by an unseen hand?

Or that they drink heavily?

The older I get the more I see just how corrupt the state is, with politicians the worst of mankind. I mean ‘Senior MP’s call for radical reform of Westminster’ was today’s headline. They say the same after each fresh scandal, then just wait for it to disappear from the news and then carry on as before.

Nothing to do with football, but there are definitely many unseen hands at work.

Oh no doubt, sorry I was solely refferimg to football there

It clearly is corrupt, matches are fixed, referees are bent, clubs were allowed to play the covid card, certain clubs play to a set of different rules to everybody else, there is zero consistency with anything, the whole thing is so corrupt and biased.

Yeah they must be very drunk. How anyone can think football is corrupt with all that money flying around, is beyond me. The people who run the show wear suits and ties and appear on tele, so they must be legit. Like the local clergy, the bible says, so ...

Anyway, just googled something and this came up, lies I tell thee, LIES!

More than six years after being ousted in a sprawling soccer corruption scandal, the former FIFA president Sepp Blatter and his onetime ally Michel Platini were indicted on fraud charges on Tuesday by the authorities in Switzerland, who accused the men of arranging a secret $2 million payment.2 Nov 2021
