I think the OP is right. One portion of rice isn't going to be enough.

Honestly, I think they're pricing him out of a move with all this talk of 100m. No one needs a pretty good CDM that badly.

Rice is the new Maguire.

Neves wouldn't take us up a level at all but he'd be a good squad addition if we already had some good midfielders.

They definitely should, but it doesn’t change the fact that rice is not worth anywhere near 100m. No chance

Yeah, he’s not. But they won’t so I think we have to contend with the sweet and sour with rice in this situation
