Hope springs eternal. Big task for City tomorrow, Champions of England v Champions of Spain and not a high level of confidence for me. The 7th best team in Spain beating the 2nd best team in England so far tonight so City will have to be right on it tomorrow. Cannot be missing the chances we did last week and have to keep Benzema quiet, best striker in Europe by a distance so Dias and Laporte will have to be at their best. If Walker was fit it would be a big help as well.

Both Real and City are better than Liverpool, City have the best midfield in the world, Real, sadly, have the best striker in world football so I would count no chickens if I was you.

I noticed that City had the first team out in the FA Cup, even someone as one eyed as you must have noticed that.

Liverpool are better than Real. So are we, the first leg showed that. Doesn’t mean we’ll get through tomorrow night though.

Nothing wrong in the article to be fair. He’s got a very good point, if we perform as Liverpool did in the first half tonight, Real could finish us and it won’t be anywhere near as easy to come back against in the second half. We’ve got to be on it from the start.

Great rule change to get rid of the away goals rule. City would be in a bit more trouble if they didn't.
