Don Carlo

He has the looks of a mafia boss from Napoli indeed.

But the exceptional accomplishments of a great football legend.

Carlo Ancelotti has won 3 CL trophies as a manager , he's the first manager to reach 5 CL finals and he's the only manager to win a league title in all 5 top leagues in Europe.
And if he adds yet another CL trophy later this month with this Real Madrid side , surely there can be no debate ... He'd certainly be a top 10 football managers of all time.

Don Carlo

I can definitely see him with a cigar in his mouth , cards in his hands and a bottle of whiskey on the side , looking straight into Jurgen Klopp's big eyes with anger

We should have done all we could to get him after SAF left... One of the few managers that could have steadied the ship for a few years.

He's a fantastic manager but let's be honest that City were the better side in both legs. The aggregate result is down to a mixture of run of the ball (City getting fewer goals from superior chance creation) and Real stockpiling elite players over years (we've seen this productivity without necessarily outplaying the opposition from Real for years, including the Zidane era), as well as a resilience which we have to credit to Ancelotti.

A widespread feeling that Real's name might be on the cup

Wouldn't that be great

It would also banish some Istanbul ghosts for ancellotti

Tbf he did that in 2007. But hopefully he is extra motivated to become the first man to win 4 CL titles

He did indeed

My bad

It's incredible that he's one of 3 top managers that we might have had in the last couple of years of Ole tenure. When you consider Tuchel and Poch were also briefly available during this time

On Robb's behalf I feel compelled to add: "and Conte"

Think when we come closer to the Final Liverpool will realise what a tough task they have on their hands. This Madrid are poor but they are also not that beatable.

The best way for Liverpool will be to try to blow them away but if they dont take their chances you can bet your house now Madrid will win the CL.

Either way it will be an interesting Final

I remember you said they were a mediocre team.
