Embarrassment is the word that comes to mind. What’s it with these guys not being able to control their emotions?
Would fit perfectly at Man Utd with their captain fantastic a great role model on how to behave. Not to forget Moyes kicking the ball at ball boy, West Ham not getting CL football next season is perhaps best for all.

the fact United are wanting to sign him after their history with signing insanely overpriced and overrated english players tells you other clubs should stay clear

Didn’t the experiment to mic up referees last one game after Tony Adam’s was heard calling the ref an “f’ing cheat” several times?
And Drogba reacted in a similar way after Chelsea went out to Barca. Admittedly that is probably the worst refereeing display I can recall.
This kind of stuff will happen all the time, it’s just not often caught on camera. Competitive people don’t like losing.

The mic up thing was only ever going to be a one off.
But this article is an example of the modern day fan - moan when they think a player doesn't show enough emotion, moan when a player shows emotion.
Rice shouldn't have reacted like that, considering it was a blatant red and the ref didn't do much else wrong, but Rice had just lost a semi-final - I would hope he was angry, even if a little irrational.

City have already bough an ex Irish flop for 100m. Let United buy the next ex Irish overrated player. Better players abroad without a doubt.

He's getting a bit too big for his boots. These transfer rumours have got to his head. Tried to bully nketiah last week and now this.
