Liverpool’s historic chase of a quadruple crown came under siege in midweek UEFA Champions League action, until a strong second-half showing secured Jürgen Klopp’s side a third cup final of the season. Whilst their Premier League (PL) destiny isn’t in their own hands, Liverpool continue to chase league-leaders Manchester City, and extending their undefeated 15-game PL streak (W13, D2) will show they’re ready to capitalise on any City slip-up.
The ‘Reds’ can largely thank their unbeaten home league record for their title charge (W14, D3), with Anfield unsurprisingly proving a fortress, heightened by the fact Liverpool have recorded a league-high 12 home clean sheets. This isn’t always the case when Tottenham Hotspur pay a visit to the red side of Merseyside though, as despite Liverpool going undefeated in the last ten home PL H2Hs (W7, D3), they’ve conceded in seven of those encounters.
Tottenham are entangled in a similarly enticing battle, albeit for the European places, as a positive result here would set up the ultimate showdown in their next match when they face off against their main top four and North London rivals Arsenal. While Liverpool are known for being fast starters, ‘Spurs’ have proven tough to reel in too, winning all 13 of their PL matches in which they led at half-time.
On their travels, only a Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick has sunk Tottenham across their last five away PL games (W3, D1), with that 3-2 loss to Manchester United back in March proving the only game of those five to see both teams score. Goals certainly appear on the cards here, as not only do these sides boast five of the league's top-ten scorers this season between them, but this H2H is the second-highest scoring fixture in PL history (170 goals in 59 games)!
Players to watch: Liverpool’s in-form Sadio Mané has scored ten of his 14 PL goals at Anfield this season, whilst Spurs’ Harry Kane has been a thorn in Liverpool’s side, scoring four goals in seven PL visits to Anfield.
Hot stat: Liverpool have seen 12 of their 14 home PL wins this season come by a margin of two or more goals.

That's not luck. And I hardly have enough digits on both hands to count the years since Manchistory United last won a league title, looking on as Liverpool win each trophy available at least once since Manchokester Penited last won a trophy.
