We needed him so badly yesterday. His final ball, tactical nous in tight spaces and big game goals are one if the key attributes of this Klopp era. Used to be the first name on the team sheet

None of the other front players can receive the ball in those crowded areas under pressure and make the right decision. There were numerous times when Salah went for the wrong option. Bobby is mostly unselfish and always goes for the player in a better scoring position which increases the chance to score.

This is more of a case where when one is not in the team he is suddenly the savior. Bobby has a pretty poor record at Anfield. Let's not sleep on that. We played our best front 3 yesterday and 2 and half of them had a off day.
Issue yesterday was the lack of overlap from the full backs which allowed Salah and Diaz to be double marked.

He has a great scoring record against Spurs too.

Kinda spitting hairs tbh. Teams can't win every game no matter how high the bar is now. Liverpool weren't quick enough/sharp with their passing and after the amount of games they are playing at the back end of the season u have to expect games like that.
There have been other results Liverpool have had where the performance has been far more questionable imo. Not many cos they are a machine but I don't think u can just say Bobby would've changed the game.

Definitely think he could have helped unlock the door last night. Thought Jota was poor when he came on.

Bobby has a good record against the Tottenham. He is the best player dropping into spaces to connect with Salah and Mane for their inside runs. He doesn't score much but he makes our game more fluid.

As a neutral who isn't on the wind up, in my opinion he is one of the most overrated players I have ever seen.

This is entirely fair. Also if anything, think we should've brought Origi on - saved us against Everton
