He also booted lee bowyer in the chops and then allegedly told the FA he would withdraw from the england squad for that summers tournament if they charged him.

Holberg and Romero weren't saints and sess had a blatant pull back on Salam when he ghosted past him.

It's football. When there's high effort levels and the result means something these things happen. It's a physical mens game and every team needs players that ruff up the opposition. If u don't you're Man United 😂

Spurs and Liverpool players had some rough tackles and moments but I didn't see anything that showed someone deliberately trying to hurt another player.

Funny how we all loath Athletico and their antics but we all jump on rival teams on home soil when the players get their handbags out 😂

Did you mean Hojbjerg, Salah and Atletico?

Or are you still playing PES 3 or something?

Ref Watch on Scouse Sports thinks a yellow was the correct call, well they would wouldn`t they, given they have instructions to pander to their darlings at all times.

Also, no mention of the 3 other cynical fouls Fabinho made without punishment. They even reviewed a nothing penalty shout after TAA fouled our player, and suggested it could have been given, talk about desperation.

And you wonder why everybody hates Spurs.

You genuinely thinking there is a conspiracy is one of my favourite things on the site.

Could I also have your thoughts on the following please;

- Dark side of the moon
- The illuminati
- Tower 7
- Lizard kings

Finally got around to watching the game and would make the following points.

1. Yes Fabinho's assault on Son was a nailed on red. Hell yes, he knew exactly what he was doing. Just surprised how the commentary team and pundits played down what was a clear forearm smash, as nothing much at all.

2. Several players were individually fantastic. Call outs for the thee CB's. Particularly Davis, with Romero again showing he is a player and Dier continues to improve.Even Royal and Sess had good games, although Sess is frustrating in so much as how weak he appears to be. Compare him with Robertson, who I would say is smaller, and that is what he needs to strive for. Too busy being nice to everyone.

3. Whilst I expected a bit of pro-Liverpool from the commentary team, I was shocked at the level of bias they brought to the match. I really think these people think everyone is willing on Liverpool. They are so out of touch with what fans actually think of Liverpool. Every thing they did was followed by an "oh that was brilliant" comment, but there was an extreme reluctance to acknowledge anything the Spurs player did.

4. Glenn Hoddle. This guy confuses me to hell. He spent something like 16/17 years at Spurs, yet has absolutely nothing pleasant to say about them.
Compared with the loyalty you see from the likes of Carragher or Neville towards their ex clubs, his negative, shoulder shrugging attitude towards HIS old team is breathtaking. Every piece of play that was good from Spurs ( and there were plenty ) he chose to give it a negative spin. I am fairly sure he does not support Liverpool, so can only assume he is the only pundit that dislikes his old club. Very strange.

Anyway, a very good performance from the guys, and if that last minute chance had gone over Hojbjerg's head to Bergwijn behind him, we certainly could have won it.

Ref Watch is a farce. Just some bloke stealing a living. He basically supports whatever decision his mates come up with, no matter how bad the decision obviously is.

Thinking about it, the whole show is a waste of time. Just there to pander to and big up their designated little darlings. That would be Liverpool, Utd and ( for some strange reason ) City, the club that is slowly killing football in this country, and therefore ultimately the level of paying customers who will eventually lose interest in watching their precious PL.

I find that BTs commentary is getting more annoying, overflowing with hyperbole.

Everyone knows TAA is a great attacking FB but they just gushed over him despite him not playing well at all. His delivery landed on Diers head everytime or was over hit. Dier played a really nice 50-60 yard crossfield ball on to Sessegnons foot, and the commentator said 'thumped forward by Dier'.

It was like the City game the other night...last 10 minutes was a City love-in, gush gush gush... ooops Madrid have won.

it's not bias or anything like that, it's just OTT and often lazy, reputation based.

Totally agree with you on Hoddle...rarely says anything positive about Spurs.
