Kinda annoyed Norwich fans with his social media post. Think he’s been fairly poor for them and some Norwich fans followed him home to shout abuse at him.
Does anyone think he has at future at United or is he the next McNair/Blackett/Love etc and will be off to some championship club next season?

Apparently he’s done fairly well for them.

I read he started well but has been very poor in the past few weeks - though the whole team has so may not be totally his fault

They had banners asking him to sign permanently

According to the Athletic write-up:
1) No one seems to quite know who the middle finger is directed at in the post. (It's tagged 'Suffolk' so is it a clumsy attempt to say 'at least we're not Ipswich?' )
2) On his performance at Norwich it says the following:
Williams has been one of the more successful signings of the season for Norwich.
He has become Norwich's first choice left-back under Dean Smith, relegating Greek international and permanent summer signing Dimitris Giannoulis to a bit-part role.
Supporters even unveiled a banner at Villa Park last weekend, the afternoon Norwich's Premier League survival hopes were ended, asking Williams to stay at the club beyond the end of his current loan.

Just click bait from Robb then. Thought he’d been playing well for them. Got player of the month a couple of months ago too?

This might be the Norwich version of ja606 Nohlman types but it’s fairly mixed regarding how well he’s done at Norwich

Out of curiosity I clicked on that link, read through two pages of comments and counted just two comments that disparaged him as a footballer. One said he was "awful today" (he could have got two yellow cards and Smith shouldn't play the loanees) and another comment that said "He’s slipping up all over the shop at the minute. I’m just glad we don’t have to keep pretending he is a left back next season." On the other hand, there's one comment that says he's been the best of their four loans this season. Unless I missed something, all of the other posts focus on his Instagram post, some supportive, some not, and many trying to figure out what the hell 'easy up' means.

Tbf I did say mixed comments. And the one said said the best of the four loans did also say something like ‘not that it’s saying much’ or something to that effect.
That was just the first page I saw. From various outlets I’ve seen over the past few months his loan spell hasn’t been too bad at all but in the past few weeks when the results have collapsed so has his form. Though again perhaps the whole team are poor and not just him.

It's true that it's 'mixed' but I wouldn't cite a discussion board that's 95% about the social post and contains only three posts that include throwaway remarks about him as a footballer as evidence of how Norwich fans think he's doing.

I’m sure I could find more but I’m not really trying to diminish his reputation here. More about the insta post and what that means and if what it is assumed how it affects his time at Norwich going forward.
I think I’ve been fair in being careful to repeatedly state that if he is playing as badly as some Norwich fans say that it may well be linked to the whole team playing badly rather than being a Nohlman type and calling him ‘dross’.

Reminds me of Rashford at United tbh.
