Haaland to City confirmed

Subject to personal terms being agreed.

Great signing. Could be their Rooney.

Maybe we can get Bernardo Silva or Mahrez if they are available

Fackinell.

I think Chelsea always playing a back 5 with 2 DMs has fooled people into thinking he’s a top defender.

Can't see him being their Rooney because he seems to have no desire to hang around at any club too long. He's said he admires the way Ibra has moved around in his career (longest he ever stayed at 1 club was 4 years with PSG). He'll likely be off to Spain in a few years and I'm sure City/Pep are fully aware of this.

I always said that this is what he'd do. That may change now his agent has died, but I doubt it.

Would love to see the OP try to explain how this would ever happen...

Haaland, his dad and his agent have shown the power players have now. BD got a good deal because of the clause, and haalands dad and agent get a huge slice instead of DB. I can see this becoming far more common in the future. I can't see haaland ever being held to ransom like Kane at spurs because his contracts are almost mapped out in advance.

Interesting to read he refused to allow BD to scan his muscle injury in January and was playing on pain killers. I can't see City allowing that kinda behaviour. If he stays fit he is a huge asset, and his wages and fees meant it elimated most of city's comp for his signature. When BM said they couldn't afford it I tool note cos they ain't exactly poor. His injury problems mean he is a gamble few bar city, psg or Chelsea could really afford to take. Be interesting to see how it plays out.

Isn't it 63m Euros?

Apparently City are only paying 11 million for him. The rest is all paid for sponsorships….

Erling gets a big sponsorship deal out of Puma as part of the transfer.package.

The way forward when it comes to mega transfers.
