Needed, bar 2 freak results. West Ham are clearly still in the mix for the Ropey League . The Rags could easily fall into the Goat Herder Conference so I expect West Ham to be trying hard. Hopefully the job can be done at the weekend to avoid any last day nerves but can we actually find a couple of CB's not held together with Elastoplast? Fern seemed to be limping off and Stones, Dias are gone and Ake and Laporte look no more than 50/50 for the whole game, could see some of the kids.

Ive said we would win it all season. Im holding on for dear life now!!!

Before wolves I felt you needed to lose one. Didnt see yous drawing both games, dropping points 2 games in a row wasnt going to happen. That being said I'll still cling onto hope that west ham can even sneak a 1 nil win. If they somehow manage that we know we need an all out assault at st marys. I'll take that.

Hats off to yous though. Getting the points is 1 thing, obliterating the gd is some going too. Basically sucked all hope out us reds, well nearly all hope!

Second Mellor's comment above, I really do applaud how City have reacted to the Madrid game. You've just blown everybody else away.

The fact we are even within touching distance of a team like City that can pretty much beat any team that isn't Liverpool at will is remarkable when we've made the CL and FA Cup final at all.

Long may the rivalry continue, and long may United continue to be absolute shiiiiite.

If you do lose to West Ham (unlikely) then we can't ask for a better team to play other than Norwich for a GD boost in Southampton.

I still think on final day you will hammer Villa more than we will hammer Wolves.

Ake and Rodri at the back might work but I fear the pace of Antonio against our stand in FB's.

I agree, I think the West Ham strike force is pretty decent. I think the best defence may be just trying to stop them having the ball at all.

If Fern is fit he will play some part.

On another note, I'd like to see Jesus stay but I suspect he will go to Arsenal.
