For the final home game of the season Wolves welcome Norwich to Molineux.

Norwich have won one of their last 15 games and that was against Burnley who were third bottom at the time.

If Wolves take 3 points from this game they are almost guaranteed to finish the season in 8th place unless Brighton take 6 points from from Leeds and West Ham and grab the 8th spot on goal difference.

Although in the reverse fixture we only managed a 0-0 draw I can’t believe that we will come out of this game without a win. What could affect the outcome however is if Bruno continues tinkering with his team set up and playing players out of position. Only time will tell.

Gem’s prediction: 3-0

While the season may have fizzled out rather than ending with a bang I’d be disappointed to see Bruno leave. I’d have taken a top-half finish before a ball was kicked and that is, almost, a done deal. For a 1st season in charge and utilizing a squad that isn’t his I think he’s done more than enough.

Still going on with those negative waves then cinci.

Hardly negative waves. It is pretty plain to see unless we spend a lot of money and that isn't going to happen.

A few wallies on here(you and amiga) actually thought we were battling Arsenal and Spurs for feck sake
========================================

I think you'll find that at the time those remarks were made, we were in contention for 4th spot, with Arsenal and Spurs faltering somewhat.

Unfortunately, not long after, it was us that went into meltdown.

It's remarkable how negative you've been for most of the season. Most of us have been upbeat, but we can all see what's happened in the last month or two.

The club knows as we all do, that players will be leaving either by sales or being out of contract and would assume they're planning for next season. It all depends on how much money is available and what players will come to the club, knowing there's no European football.

I'm more than prepared to give Bruno a chance with his own selection of players, if there's a clear out.

Nothing to do with negativity. I just wasn't fooled by what we were doing. Bruno was doing a remarkable job given he wasn't backed at all but it was clear that once our defensive form dropped we were a mid table side and not a top seven contender in reality.

Add the fact that several of our stalwarts are going to leave or are in decline then how do you think we are going to maintain our levels?

Also we have three maybe four leaders at the club, Coady, Moutinho, Neves and perhaps Jimenez. All four could be gone. See the problems yet?

We would certainly miss Neves should he go and Moutinho has been awesome considering his age.

But one of problems all season has been the lack of a creative midfielder and both the above mentioned are defensive minded. If Neves does go then we need that creative midfielder we so badly need. I hope Moutinho can be persuaded to stay for one more season.

If we do go for a back 4, then Coady can go as far as I'm concerned and I've said all I need to about Jimenez.

I don't rate Boly, but he may be better in the centre rather than the flanks, if we keep him. He's certainly quicker than Coady, who has problems against most burly CF's
