Coutinho joins Villa (permanently for £17m)

He wanted to chase his dream at Barca so I can forgive the way he left.

One of my favourite players at Liverpool and I think he could still do a job for us. I think he was trying to show that in our game v Villa.

Good luck to him though.

I respect Suarez as he give his all in every game and even gave us a full final season…

As for Coutinho
We gave him a chance when no one else would and he decided to throw dignity and his career down the toilet!

But saying that he seems a lot more humbled now and I genuinely wish him all the best

Remember his back problem when we said know yet he was fit to play for Brazil. Lost alot of respect for him then. But as op said worked out well for us at the end.

i think we were after vvd regardless for 50m? got caught tapping up so had to pay 75m?, not sure we'd have had the funds for ali without it though?

Couts, i agree with others he gave us a lot and we got a silly amount for him. Even if he was going about it the wrong way tryna force a move away we had VVD do similar as im sure we have others. Wish him all the best, still a fun player to watch, especially when hes on it. Good for the league.
