This isn’t over yet. A draw today for City is really no better than a defeat, given the circumstances. On the assumption that Liverpool will win their last two games (which I expect they will), City will need to beat Villa. If City lost today - well that situation isn’t any different to them drawing the game today.

I’ll be nervous for the last day of the season, because we are the ones who can only throw the title away now. Liverpool are not in that position, so as things stand Liverpool really don’t have anything to lose.

Not necessarily if you had lost today and Liverpool tonked Southampton than it could also go down to a shoot out for gd. So for city the point was vital.

Now it will go down to if someone fails to win their last remaining games.

Well yeah - there is that possibility. It’s a fair point to make, even if it is the more unlikely scenario that could have happened.
