Last game!

Great to see us miss the opportunity to make things a little easier on ourselves going into the final game 😂 I know Mahrez scored the goal in Madrid that should have seen us through, but I think he’s generally been poor in the run in this season. Usually he has really stepped up to the plate in the big games, but this year he’s squandered a few opportunities at key moments. Where’s his gonads?!

Clearly the bigger problems are at the back though, with Dias, Stones and Walker all out, tightening up at the back will be key to not leaking silly goals on Sunday. Ake has to be in, he’s been great lately, but the question is to go cb instead of Fernandinho, or lb instead of Zinchenko. Neither were at it yesterday.

Ederson
Cancelo, Ake, Laporte, Zinchenko
KDB, Rodri, Gundogan
Bernardo, Foden, Grealish

Saw a few blues have been questioning Ederson lately - be interested to gather a few thoughts there. Has he been a little complacent?!

Anyway, mad to be a bit neggy given the league is still in our hands, but such is the typical city situation we find ourselves in! Unfortunately can’t go on Sunday - we’re booked in for a c section on 27th and Sunday is only day not working between now and then so was given a frank “no" 😂 bit gutted as will be a great game from the stands this one! Hopefully we see it through!

I remember going to Barnsley many years ago and the guy on the tannoy informing a Barnsley fan that his wife had just had twins.

Could also be Gundogan's last game.

I'm throwing this out there, but it might have been discussed before but certain players don't seem to get Pep.
We all knew about Aguero and I am not bringing Yaya into it because he just ran and worked for the team when he felt like running...
I feel some players think they can do better elsewhere or have an easier life elsewhere, grass greener etc but just look at Sane for instance, a shadow of a player he was for us...
There are players like Foden and DeBruyne that fully back the manager but some half back!
I''ll be gutted to see Gundo and Silva go not so much Sterling judging by past two years...

It would help if you were more specific which players.

My take on it is certain players aren't intelligent enough to understand what Pep is asking of them. Think Mahrez is one of them although he has improved a lot. Don't blame him at all for yesterday. was a decent pen and he had an okayish performance.

To be fair Pep is not an ordinary manager and certain players wont make it under this manager. I think our recruitment needs to polish up on that. Think that's where Liverpool also get it right a bit on recruitment.

We are blessed that one of our key players Rodri is an extremely intelligent player. Add KDB, Bernardo, Foden and we easily have the best midfield in the world. On our day no team can live with our midfield.

We just have an issue at Left back, Back-up DM.
With Gundo leaving Im sorry but Bernardo has to stay another season.

Just to clarify, Gundo isn't being offered a contract extension after next season.

City have stated they won't stand in his way if another club come in for him.

Thanks for the well wishes all! Sure will be fine!

Hopefully we see it through, bit nervy already tbh!
