Fireworks again

Saw on the sports news today that some Everton fans let off fireworks at half 3 in the morning outside the Brentford hotel. That's consecutive home games that the fans there have done that after the same was done against Chelsea last week. Admittedly, its rather amusing the first time it happened and is has happened before elsewhere, but to do it twice in a row before big home games is pretty pathetic and desperate for fans of a stalwart premier league side.

Turns out they can let off fireworks in an attempt to disrupt and unsettle an opposition team and there players can even throw pyrotechnics into the crowd as part of a goal celebration and get away with it

Brentford did make light of it though with Toney saying that it was a good display from Brentford, but not as good as the fireworks last night

Unsporting stuff, but is there, and should there be any repercussions for incidents such as that happening frequently?

Nobody tell them where Leeds are staying on Saturday night

It’s impossible for the FA to enforce anything and how can you hold the club accountable anyway.

Burnley and Leeds could and possibly should do similar. If Everton need anything final day of the season in London - Chelsea and Brentford fans could return the favour

Clubs get punished for the behaviour of their fans all the time, so I don't buy that the FA couldn't do something about it. Ultimately, the FA won't want Everton to go down, as they are a relatively big pull for media contracts.

Something something bringing the game into disrepute something something.

I read that Brentford players and members of their families copped for racist abuse from a section of the Goodison crowd .. hope Viera and his boys spank their sh!tty arses tonight.

After watching the mayhem at Goodison yesterday, couldn't help but wonder what the scene might be like if Everton ever WON anything!
