With the last few days results panning

out exactly as I predicted, two wins for Spurs, and two defeats for Arsenal, thus making top four very much back in Spurs hands now.

There is a bit of wriggle room now, but Spurs need to be absolutely professional now and go and finish the job off. They must under no circumstances disrespect Norwich, who have given Spurs one or two problems over the years. No giving the Norwich team talk by thinking all they have to do is turn up, and Norwich will roll over. Football does not work like that. I am sure Conte will have the team absolutely focused on the job in hand on Sunday, and a happy outcome should ensue. Absolutely essential that all of the players keep their discipline. No red cards.

I expect a Spurs win, and I think Arsenal may not even beat Everton, so it may all be immaterial anyway, whatever Spurs do. But come 4pm on Sunday the only focus should be on beating Norwich, not playing for the point, but absolutely carrying on the good form into this one last game.

I have heard rumours also that Romero may be available, but I would not be starting him in such a massive game, if he is not 100 per cent. Hopefully lessons will have been learnt from the CL final. Just leave the team as it is, with maybe Kulu in for Moura. Get the job done, then we can all celebrate.

Has the dust settled yet?

I believe you may as well say so!

Morning Sandy, I didn't share your optimism going into to last nights game but I was very happy to be wrong. Fair play to Newcastle for putting such a shift in and to the crowd for firing them up. Like many folk I cannot believe how passive Arsenal were in such an important game but I'm not complaining.

I won't be counting any chickens but we would all of taken this position/situation before the season started.

Agreed Pawl. As you sy though not counting our chickens just yet. Unlike the Arsenal supporters who thought top four was done and dusted just a couple of games back.

Delighted after last nights result. All in our hands and hopefully no issues on Sunday.

It got me thinking about Newcastle though. Assuming they'll heavily invest in the summer, do you think they'll be a new contender for the top 4? Or too soon? They won't have any European distractions.

Not sure Newcastle are ready now and even if they were the top four is not set in stone anymore in my book, City aside. I can see Chelsea struggling next season, that is if they are even still around. Liverpool I think may have also peaked. United will no doubt be back someday as well I suppose.

We'll lose to Everton mate, the team look drained, the fans are drained. Everton will either be desperate for points or they'll be safe and play with far less nerves and tension.

I just hope we play with a bit of freedom, go out and attack and try and have some fun because it's done, you'll batter Norwich by at least 4.

The performance last night was worse than the result. Players looked scared, whether that came from Arteta, I don't know, Xhaka threw some youngsters under the bus but he, Elneny and Odegaard were dominated by Guimares. Tavares looked our most solid player

Certainly none of it is making Arsenal's life any easier. They could be stuck in the doldrums for a while. Which is nice
