If you do indeed win the Quadruple, does this team go down as the greatest Liverpool side of all time? Even beating the dominant 80s era? Would this evaluate Klopp above Paisley/ Shankley as the greatest Liverpool manager of all time? Interesting to hear your thoughts

Don, don`t worry they won`t win the quadruple. And even if they did, winning two, possibly three cups without scoring a goal in 120 minutes of each game will surely go down as the most boring treble of all time.

It's not happened so pointless.
The important thing to note is its a great season
We are so proud of the efforts and delighted with the return and know exactly how lucky we are.
To win one more out of the two games would be phenomenal. To win both would be like winning that euro millions pile of dosh

We do have a tendancy to make hard work of the finals we play in. In fact the only one weve skooshed in the last 15/20 years was against spurs.
Werid.

I’ll play Red Devils advocate here but can a team who’s never defended a trophy be called the best ever?
Not wumming. Genuine question.

Yes if the singular achievement is so impressive. Also that team hitting 3 European finals in 5 years and hitting plus 90 points in the league 3 times over that period. Just shows the competitive nature of the situation they are in is all.

Op..yes..greatest ever.
To win EVERY competition you enter is insane...add in the competitions has the likes of:
City the best ever prem side...look at their points totals
CFC...insane squad and just spent around £500M(?)
R Madrid...Spanish champions and a team that dispatched CFC..PSG and City
No ody can argue we had it easy....simply be the greatest (probably) European side ever considering the opposition.

Best is a subjective term, it’d be the greatest achievement ever though.
I agree with the comment earlier that I think the Liverpool team of three seasons ago was better than this one, that’s just my opinion though.

Tbh there's certain sides to have achieved certain things by defending or winning in runs and that.
Real.madrid won 3 cl in a row and barely batted.an eyelid as they were second best in Spain. Sacked/ walked Zidane lol.
Bayern are on 10 in a row in Germany. Not an achievement
Etc etc.
Winning a cup double is a remarkable season as its fairly rare in England. Never done before arsenal did it.
City won a treble in England but has anyone really batted an eyelid due to spend and lack of opposition that season.
Utd won a treble with decent slice of fight and luck with a fairly low points total and several games swing back and forth as players.made the difference like Keane in the sf etc. That's remarkable.
Lfc fans have the good fortune of several tes to discuss in this from 1878/78 to 1984 to 1986 team and then 2001 treble and klopp 2018-20.
It's all just idle speculation bit it's a great ride to be enjoyed and it'd almost over. I'd rather be in the mix than be on the beach or desperately depressed like some.... and we all have had sessions and locks of seasons like that. It'd be better imo to be grateful for the good times than arrogant a out it anyway.
