You have to say Jurgen Klopp

even if he did break his own ethics to spend big on a few players a few seasons ago, he drives his team incessantly to achieve highest levels of work ethics and gets the best out of the side, and therefore the side competes in so many trophies.

Unlucky on the league front, but Klopp only missed out by 1 point. Staggering really.

Banter aside, you have to say if Pep is getting the recognition for winning the title and rightfully, Klopp deserves equal clamour for having his side driving the City title challenge to the last minute of the last game of the season.

I see a lot of Conte in Klopp and Pep.

I really hope Conte gets the backing Klopp got.

You can see when a proper manager gets backed what happens in Liverpool.

I won’t hide Luka and I won’t be bullied. I fancied us for top 4 and I was wrong. I hold my hands up.

Take away all the `benefit of doubt` refereeing and Klopp is nowhere near Pep`s level

I think Klopp has a net spend of around 20 million a season on average since he’s been manager.
So he’s not been massively backed, had to sell to buy.

But they have invested the money well in the right players that suit Klopps system and style of play.

I like Conte and think he’ll do well, but he’ll need a few windows to get the right players in.

There’s no denying the recruitment at Liverpool is top notch, they very rarely make a mistake, but they got very lucky with regards to the sale of Coutinho. If Barca hadn’t come in for him it makes you wonder were they’d be.

Klopp handled losing liverpools best player well and most importantly spent the money amazingly.
Spurs need to do the latter without doing the first part 😂

Klopp acknowledges also the success wouldn't have happened without the scouting team and team negotiating the deals. Liverpool sold some fringe players for sums that seemed more like robbery. Spurs need to replicate that also.

I have to say Culer I did think United would be closer than they finished. On paper at least United are streets ahead of Arsenal.

Klopp has done a fantastic job wherever he has been whether it be Mainz, Dortmund, or Liverpool and whats more impressive is that he's achieved his success decent sized times with good pedigree but not the real heavy hitters in their league. You could point to Liverpool's spending but for the most part they've been a sell to buy club and that has shown itself to be true over the time he has been there. Anyone doubting his credentials is clearly just trolling.

But beyond Klopp the club's recruitment since the disastrous summer when the wasted the Suarez money has been second to none: Mane, Salah, Matip, Robertson, Milner, Wijnaldum, Allison, Van Dijk, Fabinho, Jota, Diaz, to name a few represents about as good a period of recruitment as the Premier League era has ever seen.
