Recent pitch invasions by fans at many locations seem to be becoming the norm. The FA needs to take take this matter seriously, otherwise we will end up with barbed wire fences or other such barriers being installed at stadiums. So far, no one has been killed or badly injured, but this won't last too long?
One of the beauties of our game is the closeness the fans can get to the field of play. The FA, and the clubs, need to get a hand on this matter A.S.A.P.!
In the meantime; Congratulations City!".

Netting is definitely on the way.
Fans are constantly showing the world how thick they are.

Think Roy Keane has it spot on. People have forgotten how to behave since the lockdowns. There's always been a few idiots but high profile incidents are happening more often these days.

Whilst I do in no way agree that it is ok for a bloke to think it is fine to get out of his seat, climb a small barrier and run like a nutter onto the pitch, waving his arms about. but.......end of season mass celebrations of this kind are not, as suggested, recent. They have been happening for years, and is not a sudden "trend"
What is new ( and totally unacceptable ) is the sudden emergence of people thinking it is ok to actually attack players and managers, who either have to cross the pitch to get out, or are in the wrong area of the pitch to get off quickly enough.
You are never going to stop people over doing their celebrations ( for most normal people, jumping up and down cheering and clapping from their designated seat is enough ) the problem is to sort out the real nutters who take it too far and interact with people who are only there because it is their job.
Can only see fencing as the answer. So when you are staring through a fence to see the action, or forever worrying if you can get out in an emergency, you can thank the nutter in the next seat who has brought us all the way back to the late 70's, early 80's.
