Magnificent signing. Is he for the long term? Obviously not at 33, but who’s fed up with us buying for the future constantly?. We want quality additions now and Perisic fits that bill perfectly. He will walk into our 1st 11 and improve it, certainly in the LWB position he’s been occupying for Inter. Sessegnon will also learn tonnes off him. Plenty of games for him too. Perisic also gives us fantastic options in our front 3 if say Kulu or Son get injured or need a rest. Excellent replacement and extremely versatile. 35 games played, 8 goals - 7 assists is superb last season for Inter. Age is nothing with players like this. The only people bitter by this are the salty Arsenal fans on twitter, clowns 🤡 Exciting start to the window and Perisic will fit the premier league like a glove. Now, let’s get some more quality in. Dunno how long a 33 year old winger is going to last in the Prem?
Obviously not in Conte's long term plans.
I will be happier to see some long term planning.

he adds quality and experience which will serve us very well over the next couple years.
It's a great signing as it allows us to fill a position with quality without much outlay....we can now relax about the left hand side and if we need to target that area again it will be 1 or 2 years down the line.
we cannot fill all the positions we want to and spend in every position so this is part of a sound balanced approach that will no doubt be complimented by some big spending on other area who will be part of Spurs future.
