What would be considered a good season for next season, what should we be looking to achieve? If we keep our best players and go on the sort of spending spree it looks like we might go on, what should we realistically expect to do next season?
Most seasons we say top 4 and a trophy as the target. I wouldn't exactly say that we should instead be challenging for a title, but I think we should feasibly narrow the gap on the top 2 by a fair bit. We have a fantastic manager, we have some world class players, and some younger players with huge potential, and we showed what we could do with how we ended last season. It's the best shape we've been in since peak Poch.
As always top 4 and a trophy is the target with the aim of finishing with a higher points total. To be fair if we had another season like we did in 2016/17 where we get far in one or 2 of the cups, and get to 86 points in the league, it would still be progression and so I wouldn't be overly disappointed.

80 points, KO stages of CL and win the league cup.
An away win at The Emirates or Anfield would be nice, been a while. Beating City is a bit boring for us now, need some other big 6 scalps.
Not us, but I think Everton will get relegated next season, LumpLard out by Xmas and Dyche in (if Leeds don’t sack Marsch and get him first).

Outside of ourselves, I'm unsure with Everton, they may do a Leicester and have a good season after escaping relegation, or at least not have to worry about relegation. Newcastle to be up there knocking on the door of the top 6 along with Leicester.

Everton’s squad is dross, without selling their best players they have no money to spend and their player recruitment has been beyond abysmal. Lampard is a weak manager. I think they’re in trouble myself, start next season poorly and they are toast.

I think lesta will fall away quite dramatically next season....Everton midtable but will get shot of fat frank.
For us a trophy of any sort, and T4....but trophy first and foremost for me it's a monkey we desperately need off our back.

Next season I expect Conte's Tottenham to win the premiership and do very well in the CL.
