2nd signing close

Our second signing is set to be close and is expected to be Danish right back Rasmus Kristensen. 24 year old Danish International from Marsch's former club RB Salzburg. Scored 10 goals last season from full back 👀
Leeds have bid and are confident of getting him.

Real .... I get the passion in your thoughts about the gun subject and respect your honesty and opinion around it. I don't agree in the main (hell, it's a debating forum!) - not because i'm a Brit, but because I just don't see a logic of assault rifle ownership by members of any public especially. I've worked for many years with US colleagues, and the topic has always been polarising - so get it'd be a difficult, mammoth even, to ever remove them from society to any meaningful level (they'd always still be there). Lost count of the number of times I've been in conversations around it.

What I do agree with you on, completely, is that with most things in life it's not the item, it's the owner (the human on the end of it). Be that a car, a dog, whatever - it's the responsibility of the owner to manage and use/own sensibly. That's where stuff starts to fall down. Most will be fine, but you just need a couple of idiots and you get carnage. Obviously my examples can't generate more often the level of carnage an assault rifle (or handgun) can, so I get they're not the best comparisons, but nevertheless they can cause horrendous headlines and loss of life nonetheless.

The above said, i've had the pleasure of driving through central america on several occasions. There were a couple of instances i was grateful to have my military issue assault rifle to hand when confronted with someone trying to use a machete or handgun on me. It's a very wild world out there in some places ....

I live it every day in Central America. The issue is that the public see politicans who are household names yet after many decades they are even intrinsically linked to corruption and ultimately the huge amounts of money with it the country from the drug trade. In reality, little is done to restrict the use of weaponry and illegal arms which is prevalent among the drug cartels for obvious reasons, which includes the protection of self-interest of the politicians; who’d have thought that? However. where is the ultimate destination for these drugs? Countries such as the U.K. These ‘funds’ only perpetuate the use and ownership of illegal
weaponry. In reality, in countries where ILLEGAL weapon ownership is high, it’s a battle which is unlikely to be won. Crucially, USA also has a land border, the U.K. doesn’t and that gave us a huge advantage when we set out to end universal gun ownership rights.

VOF, I’m glad that overall, you understand the point on responsible use of a weapon. It is not your buddy, it is your bodyguard.

Final point: politicians, business owners, public sector and private sector, and yes even those intrinsically linked to the drugs trade…next Tuesday football will unite all of this country as Costa Rica play New Zealand in search of the final place at this years World Cup in Qatar, so course, I’m hoping Chris Wood and Danny Hay’s All Whites have a shocker.

Maybe, Jesse will watch the game and find a new talent.
