PFA player of the season shortlist

Liverpool had quite a few players that had a great pre Xmas and average post - and some the othe way around.

Van Dijk however was top notch from August to May. Matip has his stand out games of course but Virgil is now just expected to be great every week and he basically is.

As for Klopp, won most games and most trophies even though his nearest competitor has spent over half a billion more on his squad. Phenomenal stuff.

Sandy, you know as well as I do, he doesn't wear a red shirt when he plays. I mean in what parallel universe do these people come up with one player from the team that actually won the league, and three from the team that didn't ?
It's all bo**ocks, same as the rest of our corrupt game.

The bias against Arsenal in this shortlist is ridiculous.

How on earth is Ronaldo nominated over Cooper Kupp, when Kupp won the receiving Triple Crown?

And Harry Kane over Nikola JokicWhen Jokic recorded the highest single-season Player Efficiency Rating in league history.

Ronaldo should not be there. He had probably 7-8 good games in the PL.

By good games do you mean decisive match-winning performances?

He scored 18 goals, I’m surprised you still feel the same as you have throughout the season. If any other striker of ours scored 18 league goals, let alone in our dire team last season, we’d all be claiming how they were the sole bright light in a dark, dark season.

Don’t think he deserves to be on a POTY list but what he achieved last season was extremely impressive for a 37 year old in a dreadful team. 133 mins per goal? 18 league goals out of 30 games and those goals coming in 12 games out of the 30.

24 goals out of 37 games including the CL

Next highest is Bruno with 10 then Greenwood with 6, I don’t think I need to go on
