in regards to the part that it lessens what I pay for with PS+... I agree with PS+, I like PS NOW, however combining them both is not fair due to them releasing the same stuff for both.

Surely combining them both, is exactly what you want, online and access to all the games, at a lower price?

yeah that's what I thought

without dragging it over again, that's the one area that game-pass is better... back catalogue of games plus the online for just one subscription.... also now they've finally implemented cloud streaming for said games (something that I liked back on the PS4)

no i think your both missing the point.... I have no qualms with the new set up.... I wasnt even aware its in place now or soon??

My gripe is that I pay for PS+ and PS NOW and for the last 4/5 months (at least its prob more) all the games on PS+ are already out for PS NOW as is the case with this months.


i just think its crap that I pay for both but dont get the benefits of PS+ due to PS NOW and I cant cancel PS+ as means I cant play online.

I like PS Now, I dont mind being forced to pay for online playability , just annoyed that I dont get the full benefit for PS+ that others get as Sony already give me the content that I pay for through PS+ on PS NOW. And I cant really cancel PS+.

assuming the new service will kinda do what I want which is good. but my grip was never with the new service. it was with seeing this months PS+ games and seeing the same pattern once again.

ie games that were given to me recently on PS NOW are given to me again on PS+ I dont think morally its good to have the same games being given when I pay seperately for both and one of them I cant really go without.

tied into this I also think its SHOCKING to sell games that you MUST own PS+ for.... for eg Gran Turismo 7 one if not THE flagship game for Sony cannot be played offline none of it all, single player or anything. thats disgraceful.

thats before you even go into the finer things that mess the games up due to this, (trust me you really really dont wanna be 2hrs into a single player endurance race only for the server to become unstable and kick you out the entire game with the PSN being completely fine and my connection being perfect.

I think it'd be too much to keep them separate and also have PS now "exclusives" and PS+ "exclusives"

running 2 systems is always gonna lead to crossovers so amalgamation is the only way, especially when the PS2 came out in what? 2000 so 22 years of gaming library

again Tino I dont know if your getting what I mean.

for eg God of thunder was given to us on PS NOW about 2/3 months ago and then came out on PS +.

last months main game for PS+ was given to us on PS NOW again about 2/3 months before.

the PS+ game for April and March main games again both had been released on PS NOW 2/3 months prior to PS+.

I love PS NOW for its full catalogue and I cannot go without PS+. I am forced kinda to pay PS+ but this year I dont think any of the games given on PS+ were not given to PS NOW players a couple months before.

there is no way that this pattern should always be happening part of what I pay for on PS+ is for the free games, given that its the same parties involved i dont think they should be giving away the same stuff for both.

Lilke I said I havent had the benefit of a free game to play on PS+ essentially for the entire year

going forwards hopefully the new setup eradicates those issues..... it's deffo been an issue for longer than 5 months, I think I noticed the same trend back in october before getting my xbox.


its pants that you need an online sub for GT, when as you say you want to play single-player to level up/unlock cars etc

especially when the online side of things is kinda broken its 100% pants!!

I was literally in an endurance race when I got the yellow message of cant connect to servers and booted out to main menu screen , wait 5 secs and then it connects again. also happened in countless of the challenges and licence test, happened when doing time trial challenges.

online its too broken still to do my online leagues which is the biggest kick in balls. its a great game (in terms of gameplay but its just so broken in other areas to the point where through no fault of your own you cannot play the game when you are ready to.

Yeah I always loved GT on the PS2..... really wanted Forza to be that fix I needed but they took it off and left us with Horizon which is just need for speed with better graphics. Thankfully I have Assetto and Grid to fall back on

Assetto Corsa Competitizione is the best racer on console.... by a country mile.

Mainly cos its a direct port from PC so the physics are unchanged, but thats what Im still using for my leagues and for the main thats what will be the case going forward.

Project Cars 2 was also very very good.

both in terms of realism and being a sim Asetto Corsa and P Cars 2 blow the rest out the water, with Gt7 picking up the slack in 3rd but admittedly somewhat behind.

ACC however is GT3 only that doesnt bother me at all but will prob be a put off for most others.

all the best racers are on pc sadly, i just dont think the audience is there for full on sims on console which is a shame cos these generations could handle them easily

God of War is so damned good I'm genuinely annoyed at myself for leaving it this long to play it! Best game I've played in years

I have been hoping for a while that it would appear on PlayStation Plus as I've always wanted to play it but due to time constraints I would have struggled to justify buying it. I now can't wait to give it a go
