Whenever things like this happen you've got to look for common dominators. The biggest for me is that the Dippers' have a long history of having things like what happened in the CL final occurring when they reach finals, particularly CL/EC ones.

Now, I am not trying to label all Dippers as bad fans, however, how many times can they deflect blame onto 'bad stadiums, poor policing etc' and not face up to the regularity of such things happening almost exclusively to them? Especially when this doesn't appear a problem with the opposition fans they are playing that day or other English teams in recent history?

Personally I am of the opinion that, even if the policing was a heavy handed, they have to do something about their fans turning up with fake/no tickets and continual reports that these fans are also robbing other fans of their tickets amongst other reports of bad behaviour.

I mean, it has happened so often to them and all the denials just exacerbates the situation as it will lead to rough treatment by Police as they have to be extra-vilgilent due to past antics.

I’m not. There’s different degrees, and I wasn’t commenting on the red tops as I don’t class them as news. Fox is one of the worst ‘news’ outlets I’ve ever seen. You wouldn’t get those lies on c4 or the BBC.

The Mail is just as bad for telling the truth, I’d add the Express and that rag as well. Doesn’t matter if you don’t count them as news. Loads of people do, hence best selling news media in country. They believe the shiite they print. They’ll be in the same crowd as the get rid of the BBC and privatise Channel 4 lot.
