Don’t think Liverpool could afford Nunez, sounds like United and Newcastle are interested too.

Don’t watch Portuguese football but from what I’ve read about him doesn’t sound like what I’d want. Poor first touch, not great link up play but strong and fast, sounds a bit like a striker we already wasted a large sum on.

Apparently Klopp was promised funds to rebuild when he signed the new contract so I reckon we could afford him. Especially with the Mane money.

I meant more his wage, read he wants quite a bit and Liverpool have quite a strict wage bill.

Also from what I wrote about his qualities above he doesn't really sound like a Liverpool type either.

I’m not sure he’ll end up at United either. Benfica are going to absolutely rinse someone - journos are already joking about it here.

Surely United are going to be looking at 4-5 players this summer. Spaffing EUR100m plus on one player is going to seriously limit other options.
