Munich 2nd approach for mane.
https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/sadio-mane-bayern-munich-liverpool-24174381
Apparently he has to win the CL 3 seasons on the trot and the ballon'dr in all three of those seasons as well for liverpool to be paid the add ons.
I mean did they really think no one will read those terms. It is like when it comes to your home insurance renewal and the insurer gives a silly price hoping you won't see it or something and you just renew it.
If they really want him stump up the cash just like they want for lewondeski from Barca.
Hahaha did people see bayern

If Bayern are the only suitor’s, then you’ll have to accept what they offer, or lose him for free next summer.

Lose him for free. We don't need to sell.
He will be 31 next year.

The club has shown they ate happy to do that. Look at emre can and wijanldum

With salah also likely to leave next summer, I’d imagine Koop would prefer to bring in somebody this summer.

I don’t see an issue with Liverpool just letting him walk next summer
Like salah, wrong side of 30 and when a major part of your game is pace it’s inevitable he’s gonna slow down
Question is will he give his all while waiting out his contract and run the risk of a serious injury ruining his last big pay day or will he down tools

Doubt Pogba is the first and only player to give up in his last year knowing he’s leaving on a free.
If you keep him and he signs pre contract with say Munich or Barca etc in January is he going to push himself to the point of injury? What if you draw them in the knockouts of the CL? Lot of risk in keeping someone you know their heads elsewhere.
Also Liverpool have always been a sell to buy model. Surely even if it’s 30m it could be put to use in his replacement?

As has been mentioned already, we don't just let players leave on the cheap, ever.
A season of Mane still at Liverpool is worth more than the £20m Bayern are offering (ignoring the add ons).
And we're bringing in a striker anyway...

BM problem is they are playing hardball with their star striker, wanting 40-50 mill for him, and he is older than Mane.
Hard for them to say Mane is only worth 25-30 mill but they won't budge over Lewa. The add ons on their new offer were a borderline pis5take.

It wouldn't surprise me to see us close the book on that transfer if they don't significantly offer a bigger big next.
At the end of the day they are a CL rival, not somebody we should be bending over for.
