He’s okay as a squad option. Imo has been disappointing overall but definitely had his best season this year.

I’d have been looking to sell him this summer and find a replacement myself, rather than extend him. But i guess the club don’t want to make too many changes in one window.

The problem on here is that people like you are only capable of dealing in absolutes, there’s never any middle ground. Overall, for what we paid Keita has been disappointing, but that’s mainly down to his availability rather his ability. As said above he’s just had his best season, playing in forty games overall and been pretty consistent. As a squad member he’s absolutely fine and if he was at City I doubt anyone would be saying he’s ‘shiite’ because transfer fees are irrelevant there.

At what point is Keita considered a below average signing for Liverpool? He was certainly bought to be one of "those guys" that makes the big differences. Not seeing a lot of that so far. Injury prone or not. I'm sure Liverpool didn't buy the player so they could pay his wages while out injured.
