Let's be fair a Liverpool fan shouldn't really be complaining about how this fee is being reported. The way this has been reported compared to the haaland deal is embarrassing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you guys moan about everything.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No matter how much money they have they’re never going to shake that inferiority complex.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What a strange comment that is, I dont have a inferioty complex when it comes to supporting football teams.
Maybe I am moaning abit, but then so is the op as he is complaining about the way the fee is being reported and I am only pointing out that its being reported much better than the Haaland deal. Where people are still quoting missinformation about the Haaland deal and adding everything they can onto it. To try and put a negative on it.

Cheer up you sensitive fannyy, it's a light hearted joke.

As for the Haaland deal, if you are one of those City fans that are gullible enough to believe you are only paying £52m for him, then that probably says more about you than anything.

Grealish is a better example

£75m plus add-ons yet it’s a straight £100m according to the media. You can’t blame people using the same principle to say Nunez is £85m

Ofcourse I dont believe we only paid 51m for him, but I am also going to call out the complete hypocricy and embarrassment of other fans and the media trying to add everything they can on to the deal and not do it for other high profile deals.
Sky report last night as an initial fee of 64m, well that isnt true is it as they decided to ignore agent fees and his signing fee. Unlike in the Haaland deal.

Saying a fan is guilable to believe that a club is only paying the transfer fee is quite funny. Considering that is pretty much how all the other transfer fees are reported.

Laughable really. Those guilable City fans only talking about the transfer fee. You mean like every other fan of every other club when they sign a player?

City paid the release clause for Haaland. There was no special negotiation. The paid what he wanted, paid his dad and agent.

With Nunez there was no clause. We had to negotiate but we also told them that we walk away if it became a bidding war which United wanted to do. We got the player we wanted who is very low on our wage structure (110k a week base) for £64m. If we end up paying the full £85 it will have meant a league and CL title so happy days.
