England and France

These two teams seem to be in a race to see who's going to look more shyyte in the Nations League this year.

And right now it looks as though England are winning that race

I think this goes to show just how 'important' these games truly are.

England players did their best job of telling the world they would rather be on the beach right now after a tough season and before another brutal one start which also has a world cup sandwiched in it.

Too much football is a thing. Who would have thought eh?

What is this mess?!?

England are pathetic and no amount of games is an excuse.

0-4 against Hungary ffs

Type of defeat that would get you sacked in club football for sure.

England are better than recent results this month have shown. We are/were rightly one of the favourites for Qatar going into this Nations League malarky. The timing (June) of this glorified Friendlies tourno is crazy and England players are clearly not up for it. What is concerning is that it comes just 4 months before the World Cup with only a couple of games left to play and Gareth is still trying to experiment to find his best 11. Lets hope we can get back on track after the close season rest when it resumes in September.

Wow. This looks like a sensible comment in a sea of anger

thing is that many Premier league football fans especially some who support United, Liverpool and City pretend to be disinterested in International football when we are doing well and winning with their 'who cares' jibes. But when we lose, Gareth becomes public enemy qhunt No1, and England's players who don't play for the above named clubs are all tw@ts.... especially the black ones, it often seems.

It’d be a fairer argument if the England side that started last night had been packed with players who’d played 60-game seasons. But it wasn’t.

Of the starting lineup, only Kane has played an excessive number of games this season. Most actually haven’t played more than around 40.

I didn’t watch the game, but from the starting lineup I’d guess that potential issues might have stemmed, at least in decent part, from youth, inexperience and a lack of cohesion. A lot of fresh blood in there really. It was hardly the ‘A team’.

At least teams like France and Italy can say they have won stuff while playing shiiite right now, England never have this yet should somehow feel comforted by the fact these other countries are struggling.

Or that we should celebrate reaching a euro final and World Cup semi. Greece won the euros playing defensive football. Didn't stop them changing things when they stopped getting the results.

Gareth got us to a WC semi, and
A euro final

His job should be safe.
