Looks like this is getting close. One impact of this will be that Garner won’t be going back there on loan, due to the rules stating you can’t loan more than two players from the same club.
Another is that Hafi’s probably gonna top himself.

He's on 100k a week. That's why we can't sell him.

Who is, not Dean Henderson surely? he was awful for you lot
…….
Really. I can’t remember one match where he was awful.

Henderson was the McTominay of keepers. Decent enough at times but hardly the stuff of dreams and after conceding that goal against Salah I just lost all confidence in him. Mistakes happen but that was a core lack of technique which I really don’t think can be fixed with coaching.

No way he's on 100k a week? That is sheer madness if he is.
No wonder he can't be sold.

Maybe awful was unfair, but little i saw of him when he went back to urs from a decent season with sheff urd he didnt impress at all. Esp remember the game vs us. 100k is madness regardless but i suppose when your main keeper was inna bad parch on 350k a week and you didnt wanna lose him on the fheap after the sheff season? Since then though like ddg hes not lived up to earning close to that wage.

Henderson isn’t great but I think he showed for us under Ole that having a keeper who is comfortable on the ball can make a big difference to our play and set up.
Its why many feel that both De Gea and Ronaldo hinder our ability to develop because while statistically both seem to do well their style of play actually hinders a more progressive style that many feel we need to adapt if we want to improve.

He has made a few goalkeeping errors for sure but what keeper doesn’t. He has a couple of things in his favour over DDG and they are that he commands his area much better and his distribution is miles better.
I think that who ever gets him will end up with a good keeper.

With Henderson, it could simply be that we don't think he's ready to be number one but recognise his potential to be. In the meantime, we don't want to halt his progression by pigeonholing him as our Carabao Cup keeper. A loan at a team where he'll start every game at the highest level is a great move for us and him. He'll be busy at Forest, so loads of useful experience.

I don’t think he’s got a future at the club. Not if we plan on challenging for big honours anyway.

I thought Hendo has a good season.. Still young too, can seem him doing well at Forest.

I just don’t think he’s rated that highly in football circles. Which is why he’s spent so much time on the bench for us, even when De Gea was in poor form.
