did very well in the big games for us so will be interesting to see if whoever replaces him is up to it as much defensively as well as offering the required attacking output

I’d actually like us to keep him. There’s obvious promise there, and with more time getting used to Conte, reckon he’d develop to be a very useful player. Shame, but can understand it if he leaves

one of those that can leave if we can get good money, where its a shame, but happy for him to stay. all depends on the squad and non HG numbers as well.

I’d prefer to keep him personally. He’s 23 and it was his first season in England. He’s a decent enough full back and would be valuable squad player.

I agree ….deserves another season as it was obvious as the season went on he was becoming more settled and happier as his performances got stronger and stronger

Out of all our wing backs he is probably the weakest though so if conte has his mind set on another option on the right he has to be the fall guy unfortunately

I’d buy Spence but loan him to forest again for the season …with option to recall in January

Keep royal with Doherty for the right side for now

If we get within a couple of Million of getting our money back then we should definitely sell.

Like Stevie B though, we shouldn’t be giving these guys away cheaply - they are good players and still young and learning

i reckon given time, and a team that plays a back 4 he would actually be a pretty good prem player

got a bit of a soft spot for him for the way he came back into form when we really needed him at the end of the season, but probably makes sense to sell
