Minamino cost 7 million and we're about to sell him for 15 million. We were one of the worst until our transfer team revamp/Klopp arriving but in terms of signings over the last 5 years, only Keita can be looked at as a failure when you take into account transfer fees and expectations.

But yea, overall Liverpool have the best success ratio over recent years.

MinaMino didn't work out, and a rafters of other players that didn't work for Liverpool, and the same applies to City where a few didn't work out, like Ake?

You're the clueless one with comments like that. Liverpool wouldn't have won any cups last year if minamino hadn't scored 4 goals in 5 league cup games and 3 in 4 FA cup games.

If city’s net spend is anything to go by I’d say they are one of the worst at it. Lots of players have flopped there.
Liverpool until Klopp much the same…til they all got asthma anyway.

City haven’t really had any flops since Bravo 5 years ago? Ben Mendy probably didn’t work out! Other than that hasn’t been many that come to mind since pre Guardiola

Benjamin Mendy was an horrific signing even before his (alleged) nocturnal philandering came to light

Minamino was a great signing, he did exactly what we needed him to do and we are now selling him for double the price we paid for him.

Torres is a weird one to list given you said it’s our net spend that indicates flops - he was sold for a substantial profit.

Akes been great when he hasn’t been injured. And bit soon for Grealish, not as if he’s gone out on loan after his first season or owt…
