Whoever we sign or don’t sign, we have to push for mid table again this year; as others have noted, right now, we are a team who barely survived the drop and that makes Leeds a hard sell to players looking for a club which can possibly challenge for European football.

I think this time last year, Minamino might have given at least a second thought to playing for Leeds as we look a treat capable of pushing on and challenging for 6/7. Certainly, our points accumulation of 59 last season would have seen us into the Europa League this season, which gives perspective.

Phil Hay says we may be interested in Darren Randolph as back up for Meslier. He said we are looking for a back up. Hes third choice at West Ham currently.
