I dislike Johnson and his cronies with a passion and despair at the way dishonsty has been widely accepted as a norm now in Government and this break down in having a moral compass at the highest level of supposed law making legislators spills over into a fractured and depressed society.

I personally feel disenfranchised over who to give my vote to in the next general election as I did in the last one so in the end although I was very tempted to spoil my ballot paper and write, "no one trustworthy to vote for"
I put my X in the Green Party box but even they seem to be dodgy.

So just talking to friends family and work colleagues they also feel really let down and have lost all respect and trust for all politicians, especially pathological liar BJ and his band of incompetents and therefore I suspect no single party will gain full power in 2024 and a hung parliament will happen.

I also voted Green last election too because the other 2 main parties were just awful and that's without mentioning the party leaders.
I think Labour might have a chance if they get there act together but we're see.

In football terms he's on a 10 game losing streak but after a fine start to the season remains top of the league and his closest challengers have Lukaku up front and Steve Kean managing them

A new leader will probably be in place for the 2023 party conference season, so I suspect he will be ousted or tendered his resignation in the summer of next year.

This gives the new leader time to bed in for a likely 2024 May/June election.

Who that leader will be isn't obvious, in recent leadership contests for the Tories there has been a clear frontrunner, not this time.

I think the lack of a credible alternative is probably what will keep Bojo in seat for now...while all the usual suspects crank up their PR machines, get a makeover, bury some skeletons and start jostling for position.

Well if he thinks that after last night he is even more deluded. Any one of that front bench is more credible. What people in the UK dont want is a lying , cheating criminal running the country. Its not difficult to grasp.

Hence why Boris will probably be gone by next summer, but whilst any of the front benchers are more credible than him, nobody really stands out.

In 2005 Cameron brought his Tony Blair like MO and was clear front runner. May with her vast front bench experience in 2016 became an obvious choice. Then Boris in 2019 was always touted to be leader one day, so again squashed the rest of em.

This time around there isn't really anybody who is that obvious choice as next leader, that gives Boris some breathing space with an election still two years away. He won't be able to hide from the opinion polls for more than another year though.
