Camara

From what I've seen Camara looks a more all round player. Tyler Adams is a defence minded guy good at blocking and making tackles in whilst Camara has a bit more to his game.

What had you seen of him before this summer?

What is it with these transfers that all of them are "good players" when no-one had heard of any of them, seen any of them, and if we'd have been linked with them before Marsch came in we'd be saying " why are we spending so much money from players from tin pot league?"

Not saying he's not good, but all the endorsements for players that no one had a clue about 5 minutes ago is bizarre.

Starting to think the Camara news was bollox.
Add to that, Tyler Adams is available on loan now.
We know Marsch likes him a ton. Would think a
deal for TA seems more realistic now (economically).

Wish we could get these deals done before the
trip to Australia.

For what it's worth, I'd heard of everyone we've signed and most we've been linked too. I don't think you need a massive amount of football knowledge for that.

Same here Lubo. Living in the US now I have access
to every league and most major national games and
tournaments. My Wife's not thrilled about the cost of
all those subscriptions but oh well.

My eldest's a huge fan of the Bundesliga. He knows
just about every player. And he's half American. So,
he's heavily invested in the US national team.

In other words, it's fairly easy for us to keep up with
the US based and German league players. Ligue 1,
Serie A, and La Liga also. We get some coverage
of the Dutch, Belgium, and Austrian leagues too.

Drives the Wife mental.

It's not even just that, because I can completely understand why people might not watch European leagues, because of financial or time commitments. All three of the players we have signed (plus Camara) were at clubs in the Champion's League last year, though, so it's not like they are players lacking exposure. Roca was at one of the biggest clubs in the world, and only a couple of years ago he was a huge prospect and a hot commodity.

If you listened to some people, you'd think we were snatching up players from the second division of Poland, or Serie C again. We aren't. Roca, Kristensen, and Aaronsson are all relatively well-known footballers.

I can understand that some people only follow English football, and may have a bit of knowledge about some of the more impressive outfits in Europe, but if that's the case, why start going on like these players are unknown, instead of just accepting that you don't know them because your football knowledge is limited. Baffles me.

Spot on Lubo. Roca was being tracked when he was in Spain by a host of teams, including us. Anyone who has seen Kristensen play knows he good. Very good. And
Aaronson is one of the new crop of solid US players.
All three will help our squad.
