Worst idea I’ve ever heard. When you play with him nowadays you have to accept you’re defending with 10 men. He’s also a huge ego which will no doubt affect squad harmony. Would be very surprised if Ronaldo steps foot in the US any time soon.

If I was him I would do one of two things, either whooore myself out to a middle eastern club for a couple of years for serious wedge or go back to Portugal, Sportibg maybe and have a bit of a swan song there.

Wouldn't want him. United will do well to sell him because they need a fresh start under a new manager and he doesn't really fit. He's a great goalscorer but is past his best and seems to have too high an opinion of how important he is to the team. He'd throw strops at Spurs for not getting in over Kane.
