.. it’s been a shiiitshow of a transfer window. I’m sure privately Ten Hag is wondering what kind of incompetent club he’s signed up for. However unlike Tory We Win and other naysayers I think it can still be a good one.
1) We have an actual coach now. Someone who can make the players who played badly last season look much better than they are. Basically we hired a master tuurd polisher so even if we didn’t sign a single player I’m still sure we can improve on last season which pretty much ended in March.
2) I suspect FDJ doesn’t want to join us as much as he wants to stay at Barca. We may still get him but Tielemans is out there and cheap. I’d actually prefer him tbh. Knows the PL and has tormented us for years. Would be good to have him on our side for once.
3) My sauces (Craig Bushmouse and It’s a Mexican Rave) tell me we’ll get Antony and the Rantcho axis will tear the PL a new hole.
Positivity = only way to keep sanity on here.

That’s the problem with JA now, isn’t it: we’ve completed it basically, haven’t we? Literally everything that could be discussed has been discussed at some point; every conceivable topic, from Jay’s browsing history, to the most newsworthy events of 1912, to the etymology of the word ‘nonce’, to the distribution of free Bakker flaming, to the relative merits of playing Harry Maguire up front for United, to British holiday resorts in an alternative universe in which the arrow of time is reversed.
There’s nothing else left to talk about, and we may as well all go home to bed for an early night.
