We would still need a replacement for Harrison if he was sold. We need a Toney/CF anyway with or without Harrison. Also a lb as I don't think Leif Davis is good enough

I think James will be seen as Harrison's replacement with Sinisterra being Raphina's.
You then have Summerville and Arranson who can also play out wide if JM sets up with two wingers.
Tyman from Stoke is a pretty strong left back rumour and Foster as back up keeper so I think we'll get 4 more new players, two of them centre forwards, before the transfer window closes.

Thought that up until the penalty Leif was doing OK, not the worst I have seen him play by any means. Certainly need a lb though because he is heavily touted to be moving to Ipswich.

Yet to see anything that fills me with confidence regarding Sinistera, early days I know.
Bit disappointed not to get more minutes from Gyabi, he looked OK in the last game, is he injured?

Was like for like subs so wasn't really space for him in the team unless you subbed a player already brought on. I thought Greenwood did okay when brought on in midfield.

£30m for Harrison a proven PL player with 16 goals in 2 seasons seems low, I’d hold out for £40m if he has to go…my preference though would be to keep.

Newcastle, to date, are being very shrewd as far as transfers and fees are concerned, not paying over the odds for anybody, been impressed with their owners attitude (obviously not in relation to human rights), they could just blow everybody away and hang the consequences. Target, Pope and Botman, £60m spent.
My feeling is that if we ask for £40m they would look elsewhere.
