Better Call Saul

*Episode 11 spoilers*

It’s getting quite painful to watch each episode now as the creeping realisation that it’s soon almost all over and there’s not going to be anymore jaunts into this unique world is quite crushing.

The corruption of Kim is complete (although perhaps she was always an asteroid of self destruction destined to smash into a hard surface which just needed a pusher which she has in Jimmy). The show imho sometimes suffers from it becoming the Mike and Gustavo show rather than Saul and Kim but the world is so intoxicating you can forgive it.

Anyway, 4 episodes to go and a picture of why Kim isn’t in Breaking Bad has emerged sadly.

In the B&W scene with Kim at the prison his cigarette was glowing in colour.

Yeah it would have been nice, but using colour so sparingly has had a few pretty powerful moments in the last few episodes

I liked that ending. Don't think they could have concluded it any other way than him going to prison, realistically. A death wouldn't really have suited it, and they did that with BB already. He could have escaped or had his sentence reduced and thrown Kim under the bus, but it was a satisfying character arc having him find his morals and revert back to Jimmy while making good with Kim again.

Yeah, feel like Saul, Walt & Jesse all got the outcomes they probably deserved in the end too. Plus he was already miserable living on the lam anyway, so I don't think prison where he can be himself is all that bad

He’s probably well respected in prison and can be their lawyer (off the record). And he got some Kim closure so lucky escape considering the people he was mixing with in BB

Well I'd like to think Jesse has found peace but I guess the future is a little more uncertain for him. At least he can take comfort in knowing he looks a lot younger than he did when he first met Saul all those years ago.

Yeah from what we saw seems like he'd have a pretty cushty life where he can be himself and maintain contact with Kim, so not all bad for him and potentially better than living as Gene for a guy like Jimmy

I've still worked out why insisted on that wing, in that jail.

I was hoping he just got 7 years so he could reappear again.

Heisenberg cameo was so good. Cranston was born to play that role
