I would say the US women's team should get paid more than the men. They're far more successful.

Surely pay shouldnt be based on gender and more commercial value?

Where the women's game adds more revenue than the men's game then surely they deserve the benefits of that. Where it doesn't then they shouldn't.

It's no different to the men's game in that players in the Scottish Championship shouldn't get paid the same as players at Real Madrid. Some women deserve more than some men but if women start being paid more than they receive the game will go bust.

For internationals, are the payments made by associations to their mens team linked to the income they generate? Or is it an arbitrary amount?

If it's arbitrary, then I see no real problem with paying both the same to represent their country.
