Honest, if you want me to pack it in and have a more erudite, intelligent and knowledgeable poster to take over, then I would be totally serene with that decision and would restrict myself to reporting with intermittent wi-fi from Pride Park and sail off into the sunset retirement home of JA606 Match Threaders. | After last season, I'm just looking forward to a mundane, embedding season as we find ourselves in the League 1 hinterland. Already the grumbles have started about our pre-season friendlies (FFS ) Baby steps are what is needed - hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Give it time. |
I'm still trying to familiarise myself with the number of signings we have made. I've only been to one pre-season (Hertha)and was impressed but it was only that - a pre-season friendly. So, lets see what our best XI is - but that will take time.
| Saturday, allegedly is a sell out ('cept I never know who to believe these days ). Which may put us in the unusual position of having a higher attendance than a premier team - Notts from the Dark Side of the 52. Now that would be funny. |
| And I still think that, even though we have survived as a club, there needs to be a strong hard look at the roles that the EFL and Quantuma played in the shocking debacle last season - just saying right? |
