I love how before, when I mentioned u hadn’t won the Shield, Liverpool fans all said (erroneously) that it wasn’t a title.

Now you’re all celebrating
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not once did I say that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Pretty sure u said it was a friendly. Others certainly did.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It is a non-competive match. Doesn't mean we don't enjoy winning it. Is the idea that fans enjoy when theor team win games that alien to you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s the official super cup of English football.

How can it be ‘non-competitive’?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Because the FA decided to designate it so. Which is why they don't follow their usual rules for number of subs or have extra time when it's a draw.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The extra subs and no overtime don’t actually disqualify it from being an official game.

From what I’ve read, the FA consider it their official supercup - no different to the Spanish Supercup for example.

Clubs include it on their honour roll whereas that doesn’t happen for friendly comps like the Emirates Cup, Audi Cup etc.

Why have City got a friendly against Barca on 24th August?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Charity game, one of the old Barca coaches has a incurable condition and it’s supporting a linked foundation.

Absolutely, this is why it doesn't count to trophy like just like the Lancashire senior Cup

Lfc are officially the most successful english club again as even the man's can't count the community shield any more to tip the scales.

Wall of Champions lol - what is that?

You could see from Nunes' reaction that it's not a friendly. You could also see how relived Klopp was today to finally get the monkey off his back of not winning this title.
