Could it be possible that with a better defence (Martinez, Malacia), a better midfield (FDJ - if that happens - and Eriksen), a better Sancho and a coach that the players buy into who knows what he’s doing that Ronaldo might actually be an asset?
Last season was a shocker for many reasons. Not least that most of the players had given up by March. I totally get the arguments for wanting to sell Ronaldo but I’m quite interested to see how he does in a better side. For all the hassles that come with him he is a big game player and I feel ETH will be judged in the big games rightly or wrongly.
The best result for everyone is a fit and firing Ronaldo scoring goals ahead of a side who are actually trying and everyone is buying into what the manager is selling.

Doesn’t say much for Ronaldo that Bruno could carry us to third and second, whereas he could only carry us to sixth and our worst even premier league season.
