Let's clarify this for our doom and gloomsters. This team will survive in the Premier league. We have a cracking midfield and we look sharper up front with Bamford back in the mix. Rodrigo looks to have found his right position and he could be the 30 million pound player we've been looking for. Adams' distribution is excellent and Aaronson is hugely creative. With Sinisterra and Joffy still to come in, our front line looks ok for the moment.
Defence is poor. We get turned too easily on both flanks and Koch and Llorente do not read the game well. Phillips, in front of the back four, covered up a lot of their weaknesses. Struijk is not a left back.
That aside, we are looking more and more like a team who wants to compete. The boys look like they are up for it and the new recruits all seem to give us something we need. JM's plan is becoming clearer and I was pleasantly surprised by how much width the team plays with.
Compared to this time last year, when we all had concerns following our pre-season, I am feeling a lot more optimistic. How about you?
We're not going down

The thing is that against the top teams we might just change things a little and unlike Bielsa we will not go daft attacking them.
Maybe the likes of James and Harrison (who was excellent yesterday) will be able to hit these top teams on the break and Marsch might just play a little more defensive against them.
Time will tell when we meet the top teams but I feel he has more than one way to play.

Klich is rumoured to be leaving to ensure he keeps his Poland WC spot. He needs minutes and won't get as many at Leeds it seems.

I thought Harrison was pretty meh yesterday, to be honest. Took too long to do a lot of what he was doing. Similar with a few others. Won't get that much time in the PL.
Adams was the player I was most impressed with. Quick, and always seemed to know where the ball was going to be.
Llorente struggled, but hard playing at LCB as a right footer. Means the pitch doesn't open up the same way. Struijk can't play LB.

Agree with most of the comments on here, we look OK going forward admittedly against weak opposition. Like others I am worried about how easy it is to break with pace against us. They missed a sitter when it was 3-2 as well. Will be harder against PL teams for sure

Klich (from above posts): what did JM say post-match? … also rumours, any links? I for one hope he stays (and gets game time).

I don’t know yet. Listen, I really like Mateusz and his mentality has been great. He, understandably, really wants to go to the World Cup.
“All of our guys are trying to figure out how it all fits and it’s an important four or five months for a lot of players. I like having Mateusz here, he’s a great guy and he’s put a lot into this, so we’ll see what happens.“
The 32-year-old has made 178 appearances for Leeds, scoring 22 goals and registering a further 21 assists.
In terms of Klich, you can fully understand why he might be exploring his options.
This coming World Cup is probably the midfielder’s last chance to head to the tournament.

Matheus Klich - a great professional and true servant of the club, has been a storming presence in our midfield, gave us his max, will love him forever - but, as with many of the "old guard," does he still have the legs?

Sorry, "Mateusz."
