At last - something to celebrate!

Well done those women - heroes every one of them. It’s been 56 barren years but we’ve finally got an international team that can win something. Yesterday’s winners are true role models and an inspiration to all youngsters - not just girls but boys - and I’m including that bunch of overhyped and overrated players that is the England men’s team. Maybe that’s the key to it - less hype and less expectation. Whatever, let’s enjoy the moment

I think it’s a slippery slope, they will be wanting the vote next, then being allowed to drive and before you know they will be in charge of the remote control - we’ve got to stamp this out now

Amazing achievement for them and deserve all the plaudits that come their way.

Just goes to show what can be achieved with a non-English manager

56 years of hurt over? I think that’s massive disrespect to both men and woman’s game.

Is it fook over.
