never understood car leasing either

maybe it's a generation thing

why would you spend x amount every month on something that is constantly devaluing
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess it's essentially the same as other financial things like credits cards. You get to 'have' something that you couldn't afford otherwise. If you're really into a particular car and you are confident of keeping up the payments, you might feel it's worth it.

And that you never own.

No objective diffrunce between keese n per-chase

If u bye! a car four say $40,000 it depreciates butt u always pay as if was $40k

I prefer leasing to owning. New car to drive every couple of years. Not stuck with a deprecating asset that becomes a financial burden as it begins to fail etc.. Given the choice between leasing and hire purchase I would lease every time,

Can’t believe Sunak said that in public. What a clown.

You’ll be paying a lot more each month though? I’d rather buy a second hand motor a couple of years old.

Sure. Obviously affordability is a factor. I wouldn’t lease a car if it was going to impact my ability to live life how I wanted. You see these people on social driving £650 a month cars whilst still living at home. That’s mental.

I’d have no problem going with a second hand car. Not much of a car person anyway.

Yeah fair comment. I tend to like quite fast cars which tends to be expensive on lease, so for me 2nd hand works well for me. I’ve always owned cars, so just prefer that model.

I wouldn't worry about him. Truss has clearly got this sewn up.

And the real issue isn't that the political elite have these views it's that a large section of the population have this view OR care more about protecting what they have than following any principles they might hold.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
this is very true

you get what you voted for

the leaders reflect the society they're from

it says alot about the British population as a whole the government the country now has
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe. If it weren’t for the ill suited first past the post system.
